Delete your BlendMyx account
Last updated: 13 August 2026
You can delete your BlendMyx account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need the app for the second one.
1. In the app
- Open BlendMyx and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm.
For your protection this requires a recent sign-in. If you have been signed in for a while you will be asked to sign in again first, then retry.
2. By email
If you cannot access the app — for example you have lost your device or cannot sign in — email support@blendmyx.com from the email address on your BlendMyx account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and delete the account for you.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in identity and email address.
- Your profile, username and profile photo.
- Your Spotify connection and notification tokens.
- Your notifications, settings, blocks and achievements.
- Comments you posted, and the notes attached to your song submissions.
- Your friend connections.
- Your analytics profile and events, including session replays.
What stays, shown as "Deleted user"
Some of what you contributed is part of other people's records too. Removing it would change results other members already saw, so it stays — but it is no longer connected to your name:
- Votes you cast, songs you submitted and final standings in blends you played. Results are calculated from these, so deleting them would rewrite completed rounds for everyone else in the blend.
- Direct messages you sent stay visible to the people you sent them to. A conversation belongs to both people in it.
What we keep for safety
Abuse reports and moderator actions may be retained where needed for safety, abuse prevention, enforcement or legal obligations. We also keep a limited record that the deletion happened, which documents it and prevents the account or its data from being recreated.
Spotify
We delete our copy of your Spotify connection, but only you can revoke BlendMyx's access on Spotify's side. To do that, remove BlendMyx from your Spotify apps page.
